My work has evolved into organic lines and varied textures. Currently I am working on wall art. I draw inspiration from reading and my sensitivity to the world around me. An inquisitive mind leads me to constant experimentation and questioning. Enjoyment of a project comes from the many hours of processing with my sketch book, my camera and my walking shoes.

I have always been inspired by Emily Carr's paintings and writings. This piece formed itself as I walked in the forest with thoughts of her and her life. I felt her presence in the dance of light and dark, stillness and movement all around me.
