Annet came in contact with the medium Paverpol in the The Netherlands where she was born. She had been a College Teacher in economic subjects for 18 years before she started to explore her creativity. Her works are made of fibers (cotton, linen, silk, paper, pressed bark fibers, wool) that are hardened with Paverpol. Unlike most fiber arts, her work can be placed outside in gardens or on patios without being effected by rain, sun or freezing cold.

Annet started her own studio in Chilliwack, British Columbia where she now teaches others that it is fun and easy to create your own unique art pieces with the help of old T-shirts and fibers.
