Wearable art incorporating a variety of surface design techniques: knitting, felting, screen-printing, shibori , clamping, hand- and machine-stitching.

Anne Marie Andrishak was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. After moving to Canada in the 1970s she initially made children's clothing. She attended classes at the Alberta College of Art, Calgary, and completed a two year course at a Fashion Design School, where she subsequently taught for a number of years. In the early 1990s she relocated to Vancouver, where she studied Textile Arts at Capilano College.

Her main focus is "art wear"- clothing made by hand using such techniques as knitting, felting, silk-screening, shibori, and clamping. Her garments are hand dyed and printed. Anne Marie is interested in creating clothing that is unique and pays attention to trends in fashion, design, and art.
